Faulty Capacitor |
A faulty capacitor is a common issue for treadmill. You can check the capacitor by visual inspection around the main capacitor for a bulge on top of the capacitor or oil coming out from it. You can see the trace of oil as the picture above.
The symptoms for faulty capacitor will make the treadmill intermittently stops during operation as the capacitor couldn't hold the charge and sometimes the motor not moving at all.
If the problem is the capacitor, how would you know, and are they easy to replace ?
